Niramaya.health
Privacy Policy
Effective 26 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Niramaya Health (“Niramaya”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit niramaya.health or book a consultation with us. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to deliver consultations and improve the site:
- Booking details you give us: name, phone number, email address, age group, primary health goal, and any notes you share in the booking form.
- Health information you choose to share: if, during or after a consultation, you share medical history, lab reports, or lifestyle details with your dietitian, we store and use that information solely to provide your nutrition plan and follow-ups.
- Usage information: pages viewed, buttons clicked, device type, approximate location (derived from IP), referrer, and similar product-analytics signals. We use this to understand which parts of the site help, and which need work.
- Cookies and local storage: small identifiers used to count unique visitors and stitch a session together. You can clear them at any time from your browser.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian books on behalf of a child, we treat that information with the same care as adult records.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your booking and run your consultation.
- To build and refine your personalized nutrition plan.
- To send follow-ups, reminders, and program updates relevant to your plan.
- To improve the site, measure conversions, and prioritize new features.
- To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
3. Where your information lives
Your information is stored on systems operated by Niramaya and by trusted third-party service providers used for hosting, analytics, payments, and communications. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and they process information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy. Your information may be processed or stored in locations outside your country of residence.
4. How long we keep it
- Booking and consultation records: retained for as long as you are a client and for up to 36 months after your last interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
- Product-analytics events: retained per our analytics provider's standard retention policy. Personal identifiers are removed where feasible.
- Records required by law: retained for the legally mandated period.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Opt out of analytics — block cookies in your browser, or use the “Do Not Track” / “Global Privacy Control” signal.
To exercise any of these rights, submit a request via the booking form with “Privacy request” in the message field, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard protections: HTTPS in transit, access controls and authentication on our internal tools and provider accounts, and the principle of least privilege. No method is 100% secure, but we treat your health information with the same care we'd want for our own.
7. Children's privacy
Niramaya.health is intended for adults and for parents/guardians booking on behalf of a child. We do not knowingly market to children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you before the change takes effect.
9. Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, please use the booking form and note “Privacy” in your message. We'll publish dedicated contact channels in a future update.
